My name is Denis Burns and I am an IT manager at Florida State University.  At the College of Communication and Information my team supports 60 faculty, 40 staff and over a quarter of the student body of the University.  Open and honest communication is the cornerstone to my methodology with both my patrons and my staff.

I define, organize, and implement projects involving computers and people.

Troubleshooting problems and situations is my specialty.  I look for and design creative solutions.

I excel at public speaking and presenting new technologies as it provides the perfect venue for my ability to communicate and my extroverted nature.

My passion is learning. I am an effective teacher because unlike many, I never stop being a student.
